Campbell's Labels and General Mills Box Tops for Education Programs

Mountain Mahogany Community School participates in the General Mills Box Tops for Education Program. For each box top collected, General Mills will donate 10 cents to the school. Box tops can be found on General Mills products, as well as Ziplock bags, Cascadian Farms products and Kleenex products. We also participate in Campbell’s Labels for Education. UPC’s from soup and other products can be redeemed for school supplies and play ground equipment. Please encourage your friends and family to collect box tops and soup labels to benefit our school.

Inkjet Cartridge Recycling

Most of us have inkjet printers at home or work. Next time you have an empty cartridge, bring it to the MMCS office for recycling. MMCS will be paid up to $4.00 cash for each cartridge with a print head. You can also get empties from friends, neighbors and small businesses. On average, a person uses two cartridges a year. The potential is huge. Be sure to bring your empty cartridges in their original boxes or sealed in a Ziplock back to prevent ink leakage.

Recycling your inkjet cartridges with MMCS doesn't only help our school, it's eco-friendly. Cartridges take over 1,000 years to decompose. Recycling and remanufacturing saves energy, and cuts down on the release of toxins created during the manufacturing process.
